La Marina urbanisation is twenty minutes drive south of Alicante airport. The Mediterranean Sea, a beautiful bay with golden sands, a two kilometre long beach, dunes and a pine forest is just thirty minute walk or a short car journey from the urbanization which has all services and facilities including supermarkets, schools, sports and recreation and parks. From ancient archaeological sites to modern business opportunities La Marina urbanization is the place to be. The nearest large Spanish town is Guardamar del Segura with its boats marina and an ancient castle, just 15 minutes by road. My wife and I first launched the La Marina Info web site in1995 to provide a forum and valuable information for expats living in this area and also for tourists.
